VOTE for YOUr VALUES

Learn about the issues that matter to you, and make a plan to participate in the 2026 midterm elections.

As America marks its 250th anniversary, Next250 spent three years gathering input from thousands of people across 36 states and territories. The result: a Declaration of Interdependence and five policy platforms, each backed by polling that shows majority support across the political spectrum.

THE FIVE PILLARS

A Living Wage for All: Tie the minimum wage to the real cost of living and end all subminimum wage exemptions — for tipped, disabled, youth, and incarcerated workers.

Rights-Based Climate Justice for All: Time-bound reduction of oil and gas production, universal access to clean energy, justice for frontline communities, and a just transition for workers.

Abortion Justice & Reproductive Liberation: The right to have a child, the right not to have a child, and the right to raise a family with dignity — including paid leave and universal childcare.

Preventing Gun Violence & Reimagining Community Safety: A Bi-Partisan Break the Cycle of Violence Act ($20B/10 yrs) and a Justice in Policing Act rooted in 21st Century Policing recommendations.

Voting Rights & Democracy for All: Pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the For the People Act — automatic registration, early voting, and protection from disinformation.

MAKE YOUR
VALUES
VISIBLE.

Vote Your Values is a Next250 civic participation campaign built around a simple question: what matters to you, and how do you want to participate in the civic life of your community?

The campaign provides a shared visual language and practical resources for people and organizations to learn, talk, organize, and participate without telling anyone how they should vote.
